Wedding Anniversary Session in Collegeville, PA

This past April, I had the absolute joy of photographing Joana and Nick’s fifth wedding anniversary session in Collegeville, PA. We met on the grounds of Kunda Airport, a unique and open space that gave us the perfect blend of romance, nostalgia, and celebration. But what made this anniversary session especially meaningful was how they chose to honor their journey—by including their sweet son, Logan.
Five years ago, it was just the two of them saying “I do.” Now, life looks a little different—in the best way. This session was a celebration of not only their enduring love, but also the beautiful ways their life has grown.
Joana slipped back into her wedding gown (from Pronovias), looking every bit as radiant as she did on her wedding day. Nick wore his military uniform—a tribute to his service and a powerful symbol of strength and pride. Logan, their little one, brought all the joy to the session. He was especially taken with his dad’s hat, and watching him try it on with wide-eyed wonder was one of those little moments I live for as a photographer.
It was such a beautiful way to say: this is who we were, and this is who we are now.
I love photographing anniversary sessions like this—where love has deepened, families have grown, and there’s a clear sense of legacy being built. It’s not just about recreating the past; it’s about honoring how far you’ve come and all the joy that’s arrived along the way.
